I love the holidays. I love the decorating, the food, the traditions and all the anticipation. I also love giving gifts, especially gifts that people wouldn’t buy for themselves.<\/p>\n
I’ve written before about how important it means to me to have family portraits. Unfortunately, for most people, they don’t realize how important it is until someone in their family can’t be in the portrait. I encourage families to be proactive – get portraits taken now. Invite the grandparents and all the siblings. And do it once a year – kids change, parents change, babies are added.<\/p>\n
Think about the old photos you have of your parents and your grandparents, how they look when they’re younger. You want your children and grandchildren to have portraits of you and your family when they’re older too, don’t you? I do!<\/p>\n
