The J family was fortunate to have the last colorful outdoor images of the year. The next weekend after our session, a windy storm came through that blew all the color away. And lucky for them, because this session happened at the spur of the moment.<\/p>\n

To make the session fun, I sent the kids on a leaf hunt to find the best one. They ended up with more than a handful, some a little crunchier than others, but it lead us to the fence around the large pond which reflects perfect light for a great family portrait. I never get tired of this location – I shot my own kids portraits here too.<\/p>\n
